COVID-19 Safe Plan
All services and events at St Anne’s Church are conducted under the Queensland Government’s Industry Plan for Places of Worship. This includes:
Worship services.
Home groups.
Markets and car boot sales.
Activities and events run by community groups in the church hall.
Morning teas or meals.
When you come to St Anne’s for any of these services or events, please:
Refrain from all contact - including hugging and shaking of hands.
Sanitise hands on entry and, in services of Holy Communion, before receiving the bread.
Maintain a 1.5 metre distance from others when moving about, and as far as is possible while seated. There should be a minimum of a one seat space between households, where possible.
Please get tested promptly if you have any of these symptoms:
cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, fever (or history of fever), fatigue, loss of taste or smell, diarrhoea, vomiting or nausea.
In services of worship where Holy Communion is being celebrated:
Please santise your hands (with the santiser available in the central aisle) before receiving the bread.
Form one queue in front of the minister who is distributing the bread.
After you receive the bread, you may optionally receive wine from the common cup, available at a distance from the bread, or return directly to your seat. Intinction (dipping the bread in the wine) is not permitted because of the risk of contamination.
